EPISODE 69: Watch Matchmaker - We pick 6 great chronographs under 10K for Adam

Adam needs a new watch. He's thinking of a Speedmaster, but he wants some more options. Which is where Watch Matchmaker comes to help. Adam sent us an email, and we fired up the search engines, converted our currencies and came up with six chronographs, both wild and wonderful. From obscure Omega's to dressy salmon dials and a hot new heritage reissue, there's plenty of options, all of them good. The only question — which one will Adam go for?

This week’s episode is brought to you by TAG Heuer. Listen in to hear Felix and Andy chat about the brand’s partnership with Porsche and the new TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronograph Special Edition. Find out more here. https://www.tagheuer.com/porsche

Adam’s Brief

I currently have my grandfathers Enicar in my collection, as well as a Hamilton Jazzmaster. I've resisted the temptation to buy other cheaper watches, as my eyes have been fixed on an Omega Speedmaster professional for a number of years, falling in love with the look and the story of the watch. I recently turned 30, and settled on the sapphire crystal with display back model. However, then your podcast came along, and now I'm not so sure. Thanks for that. I want an everyday watch, that I can beat around in. A chronograph or dive watch I think. I like a watch with history or story behind it. I've already turned 30, so I don't want to wait much longer. My budget is $7K. Thoughts are appreciated.

Andy’s Picks

  1. Breitling Top Time

  2. TAG Heuer Carrera Montreal

  3. Omega Seamaster Apnea Jacques Mayol

Felix’s Picks

  1. Aquastar Deepstar

  2. Sinn 158

  3. Montblanc Heritage Monopusher Chronograph
